REVIEW: Rudolph With Clarice Musical Snow Globe

Rudolph and Clarice are together forever, thanks to this musical snow globe from Jaks.

The six inch snow globe has a ceramic base adorned with iridescent glitter and a glass dome where Rudolph and Clarice stand.

Staying true to its name, once shaken, the snow globe kicks up thick pieces of snow that engulf the two reindeer, almost mimicking the storm they and the misfit toys encountered during the stop-motion holiday special.

While the snow globe is mesmerizing all in its own, the whimsical “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” tune can be heard by winding the key at the bottom of the base.

This snow globe would be a great buy for any collector, however there are a few cosmetic issues with it.  The glitter on the base is smeared and for anyone who has ever used glitter, you know once you touch it, it gets everywhere — and that’s the case with this snow globe. The lines and colors on the Rudolph and Clarice figures aren’t even, but it’s not the end of the world

Overall, this Rudolph and Clarice snow globe is a piece of nostalgia for anyone who loved, and still loves, the 1964 stop-motion Rankin/Bass special.
